About AIM

This page keeps two things separate: what AIM is as a student association, and the official information published by the department and the institution.

The association

What AIM is

Written by the association. This is not an official NSCET policy statement.

“AIM is a student-focused space for learning, collaboration, innovation, and responsible technology practice.”

AIM is the student association of the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at NSCET, Theni.

It exists to help students of the department learn together, work on projects, and engage with the field beyond the syllabus.

This website is maintained by the association to share department information and student achievements.

AIM was inaugurated on 9 November 2024, alongside the Information Technology department's association “Nexus”, at the Sir C.V. Raman Auditorium, NSCET. It has held an annual inauguration since.

"AIM — Association for Intelligent Minds" is the name this association uses for its website. The NSCET department page currently lists the body as "Association of Intelligence Minds"; that wording is not presented here as an official expansion.
